The atmosphere at this little diner restaurant is just awesome!!! It kinda feels like you are back in time when businesses cared and service to their customers is priority 1! The fish and chips were amazing! Huge pieces of Cod and the Tartar sauce was probably the best I’ve had next to my grandmas! My husband’s burger was cooked to order and he loved it also!

The strawberry jam was excellent, and appeared to be made in house. But what truly sets Hangry's apart is the outstanding service provided by Zach. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, made excellent recommendations, and was always attentive to our needs. What a great 'little joint' in the Stateline ID area. Was visiting Nearby Cabela's and asked where a good breakfast spot was, and without hesitation was told Hangry's! They were busy but service was great, and food came fairly quickly. Great sized portions for the Chicken Fried Steak, and I tried the Spicy Breakfast Sandwich that I found, 'Huh-Mazing"! Excellent heat level; grilled jalapenos, caramelized onions, pepper jack cheese melted over a hand formed 1/2 pound patty of spicy sausage. All smothered with a spicy mayo sauce that was delicious!
Perfect little dive! Amazing food, super friendly staff, great tasting food. Too many good options to pick from. Will be back! Standout are the garlic fries. The house stone ground mustard was easily top 3 all time.
Hands down the best cheese curds in the world. THE best Ruben the burger was AMAZING. The staff was fantastic and friendly. The cook was SO quick! I can't wait to come back for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! We ordered to go, and they packed it up so lovely. My man even put the cheese curds on the very top for munching on the way back home . Hangrys is for sure now one of our new favorite spots!
This place is a gem I was randomly looking for a place to eat near Walmart and glad that Google suggested this. I had the burger special for the day with sweet roasted peppers and bacon . Let me tell you, they cooked my burger to perfection , it was flavorful, BIG and hearty ... had a hard time finishing it. I ordered it with onion rings and it was perfectly battered and crunchy. Everything was fresh ingredients, home-made right down to the ranch dressing. Burgers are burgers, but not this place. They know how to cook them. I'm definitely returning to this place. Highly recommend this local business
Delicious food for a great price! I ordered online and it was easy to navigate. My food was ready super fast, and it was amazing. Went into the restaurant to pick it up and it was clean and the waitress was super nice and helpful. I would highly recommend.
Excellent all the way around. Super friendly employees. I had the patty melt... definitely leave the yummy mustard sauce on. I got it on the side because I wasn't sure what to expect. I ended up dipping my fries and sandwich in it. My boyfriend had the brisket burger and he is a meat snob and loved it. Brisket melts in your mouth. He also got onion rings which were delicious. It's tiny and easy to miss, so make the effort to find it!
